Team Spotlight: Chris Bjerre, Card Artist
We're thrilled to introduce you to the faces behind Parallel. Our Team Member Spotlight series will provide a glimpse into the work behind the people who drive our organization forward, showcasing their unique talents, passions, and contributions.
Today we are spotlighting Chris Bjerre, Card Artist.
What is your Background?
My Name is Chris Bjerre and I’m a designer and concept artist with close to two decades of experience in the motion design industry. I have been fortunate to be able to work on a variety of projects ranging from feature films, broadcast commercials, title sequences, music videos, game cinematic and experiential design.
What is the coolest work you’ve done before Parallel?
A recent favourite project was helping design the Prime Radiant for the Apple TV adaptation of Isaac Asimov’s Foundation. It was very rewarding to design a physical prop and see it being brought to life by the amazing production team on the show.
What has been your favourite contribution to the Parallel universe?
Being part of the card artist crew is both challenging and inspiring. I’m blessed to be part of this super talented team. There’s not one specific element or character I’m most proud of. I’m just excited to see the world expand and grow piece by piece on a weekly basis.
What is something you are looking forward to in terms of Parallel?
I’m excited to see the IP expand and see the Parallel story told through new mediums.
If you had to pick one Parallel to join, which would it be?
The Augencore aesthetic is very much in my wheelhouse but the Shroud are the most fascinating and unique from a narrative perspective in my opinion.
