PATCH 0.64

Patch 0.64 Live Now
Patch 0.64 will feature Balance Changes, UI / UX improvements, Tutorial Overhaul, Mobile Build and several additional bug fixes.
Regional Mobile Launch
We're thrilled to announce that the game will initially be available exclusively in the Philippines to kick off our mobile launch. This regional release will allow us to refine the game experience and collect valuable feedback before launching globally. We can't wait to bring the game to more players around the world soon, and we're deeply thankful to our Filipino community for their support during this exciting first step.
Tutorial Overhaul
With the mobile release in mind, we've completely overhauled the tutorial to provide a smoother, more intuitive experience for new players. Whether you're a veteran or a first-time player, this revamped tutorial will help you get up to speed quickly and enjoy the game on your device of choice.
Referral Program
Our referral program is live and available to any user playing Parallel! Visit https://parallel.life/referral-portal to get started! Sharing your referral code with your friends will earn you both rewards. Stay involved as we are constantly updating the referral program to offer many rewards to users!
UI / UX

We've also redesigned the settings menu to improve accessibility and usability. Instead of being tucked away in the top right corner, it’s now integrated into the Main Navigation on the left side, offering a cleaner way to manage your preferences.
- While at the main menu, clicking on your avatar now just displays Profile stats and is no longer Profile and Settings.
-
Default Fieldbacks for each Parallel have been updated and changed
-
On PC while within a match you can now open settings menu with the ESC key

Card Changes
This patch primarily focuses on Kathari, but don’t worry children of Europa, there are quite a few buffs to come with some nudges in the nerf direction.
Graphene Battery
As a quality of life upgrade, Graphene Battery will no longer be the scariest upgrade to pull from overclock, which can accidentally wipe your entire board. We felt like having a deadlier (but more localized) explosion would lead to more opportunities to find value with the card. Hopefully this doesn’t blow up your Cestmirs.
Allocated Provisions
This change is aimed at trimming off some of the long-term value generated by repeated activations of Allocated Provisions. For the first activation, it still costs 1 total to play and activate from your hand, so it shouldn’t disrupt too many developmental turns. There’s also still a method, given time, to conceal for free. For most uses, though, this costing 1 to activate should be more in line with the power level of what you’re getting from the relic.
No Snitching
We’re very happy with No Snitching’s power level in general, but it’s having an outsized impact on the high-end of cards in deckbuilding. The intent of the card was to create a powerful, staple answer (at Common rarity) that everyone would have access to, but wasn’t a complete answer. However, given its cost and prevalence, it’s pushing dope stuff at the top of the curve out of the meta. Here’s to the dope stuff.
“But what about Terramech?” This is a totally valid and expected response. There are plenty of answers within each Parallel to the Terramech; the one that you played automatically and for free just isn’t one of them anymore. Our hope is that Terramech is no longer necessarily the top of the curve in a world where this isn’t a threat to 6+ drops anymore.
Vindicator Rapid Assault Vehicle
This is the first in what we expect to be a series of nerfs to Unit Cathy. We’re taking a small swing here because this card had power to lose, but we wanted to stay away from the 1- and 2-drop core of the deck for as long as possible. With the next few releases, we see the game slowing down and Cathy naturally drifting to a more equitable winrate and share of the meta. At the same time, there is a disproportionate amount of Cathy players on the ladder relative to winrate expectation, because whether Cathy wins or loses, she does it very quickly.
Stay tuned for further changes to Marcolian.
Triumph of Europa
As a card category, the Triumphs are complicated. They have become meta staples (with notable exceptions), exciting and dramatic cards, and overall icons of their decks. However, they have an outsized impact on the games in which they are played, thus overshadowing other cards that try to make it into decks. We believe that this change should leave plenty of power in the card, but bring down some of the raw comeback potential from drawing multiples, bringing back 0 cost cards like Tabula Rasa, or increasing the threat density of other powerful cards that died earlier in the game.
Magna, Tempest's Will
There is an argument that Magna is the best card in the game at the moment. It doesn’t help that you’ll often see four copies of this Legendary card in matches against Scipius, due to Triumph and Scipius’ own ability. This is a very soft touch to the first play of the card (often the most powerful during a given match), but should trim off some of the late-game value generated by it recurring.
Maritus, Aetian Recombinant
Maritus is an exciting card that currently only sees play in Aetio shells. We think that bringing this down an energy will allow it to be more of a consideration in other decks, while also becoming more of an impactful tempo play earlier in the game, but without having the optimal unit in the Waste.
Romus, Recombinant Justician
Wouldn’t it be great to not hit Decay? Now you can’t! Hopefully this means that this guy looks less sad overall and might get some friends.
Enduring Immunus
Whenever possible, we like to revisit nerfs in the past and revert them when appropriate. This card is a significant tempo cost in today’s tempo-heavy meta, so we think that he is more fun than he is scary.
Eighth Palm of Galli
Adding the Clone tag here should enable sufficient Kathari shenanigans to inspire players to consider this in decklists.
Gallian Orator
This revert of an old nerf seemed to be pretty safe, so we’re pulling the trigger on it.
Mournful Delta
Though not technically a buff but a sidegrade, we think that this should be enough of a bump to give Kathari another serious source of card advantage.
