New Game Mode - Tournaments

Tournaments is a new game mode that will debut in Season 2, offering a structured tournament style format directly in-game. There will be three different tournament types offered throughout an initial rollout and testing phase: Open Tournaments, Standard Tournaments, and High Stakes Tournaments.

Note: Open Tournaments will be the only tournament type offered on the release of this new game mode as we ensure the functionality and stability of this new feature.

The ruleset for each of the three different tournament types will be the same across each type, with the difference being the entry fee and prize structure that is unique to each individual type.

Rules:

  • Face off against 15 other opponents in a single-elimination 4-round tournament bracket.

  • Each game has a 30 minute time limit. Both players start with 15 minutes of bank time, with that time running down during their turn. A winner is decided when either a player's Health reaches 0 or their Bank Time reaches 00:00.

  • Climb the bracket and claim rewards based on your final placement, including an exclusive title for the victor!

Tournament Types:

Open - Open Tournaments have no entry fee, allowing anyone to jump in and battle their way to the top. Earn Apparition Packs, Standard Tournament Tickets, and an exclusive title.

Standard - Standard Tournaments have an entry fee of 1x Standard Tournament Ticket. You can obtain Standard Tournament Tickets from the Premium Battle Pass or they can be purchased directly from the in-game store for Glints once these tournaments go live. Earn Apparition Packs, Standard Tournament Tickets, Glints, and an exclusive title.

High Stakes - High Stakes Tournaments have an entry fee of 1x High Stakes Tournament Ticket. You can obtain a High Stakes Tournament Ticket by purchasing them from our web store for PRIME once these tournaments go live. Earn PRIME, Bounty Keys, and an exclusive title.

Note: This is our V1 implementation of this new game mode and we have plans to further improve the experience in future updates. Open Tournaments will begin Tuesday April 2nd.

Known Issue Fixed: Blacked-Out Cards

We have implemented a fix for the previously identified blacked-out cards issue that some users under minimum requirement specs have been experiencing. Once again we would like to thank our community QA members who took up the challenge of helping us in testing and identifying the cause of this error!
