Patch 0.21 Change Summary:

Card Ability Changes:

Augencore

The Augencore have been in a pretty good spot recently, but we want to delay some of the higher impact turns a bit.

Arak, Combat Overseer

Comments: Cost increased.

Cost: 5 > 6

Enhanced Blueprints

Comments: Puts remaining cards on bottom of deck instead of top.

New:

If you control an upgraded unit, look at the top 3 cards of your deck and choose one to draw. Put the others on the bottom of your deck in a random order.

Previous:

If you control an upgraded unit, look at the top 3 cards of your deck and choose one to draw. Put the others back on top of your deck in a random order.

Jury-Rigged Juggernaut

Comments: Cost increase from 7 to 8. Muster ability now resolves at the end of the turn rather than the end of the next turn.

New:

Battle Ready

Muster: Attach all upgrades in your bank to Jury-Rigged Juggernaut. At the end of your turn, return those upgrades to your bank and destroy Jury-Rigged Juggernaut.

Previous:

Battle Ready

Unfair Advantage

Comments: Selection of enemy unit no longer considered targeting.

New:

Target upgraded friendly unit attacks an enemy unit of your choice. It gains Evasive for this attack.

Previous:

Target upgraded friendly unit attacks target enemy unit. It gains Evasive for this attack.

Machine-Learning Matrix

Comments: Selection of friendly upgrade and unit no longer considered targeting.

New:

At the start of your turn, you may destroy a friendly upgrade. If you do, search your deck for an upgrade that costs 1 more and attach it to a friendly unit of your choice.

Previous:

At the start of your turn, you may destroy target friendly upgrade. If you do, search your deck for an upgrade that costs 1 more and attach it to target friendly unit.

Earthen

Earthen took some time to find its footing, but ended the previous patch with a fairly strong archetype. We’re putting a bit more strength here.

Revitalising Growth

Comments: Now can target anything.

New:

Heal any target for 5.

Previous:

Heal yourself for 5.

Soleia, Disciple of Gaffar

Comments: Selection of units no longer considered targeting.

New:

At the end of your turn, if no combat damage was dealt this turn, you may pick a friendly unit to attack an enemy unit of your choice. It gains Armed and Evasive for this attack.

Previous:

At the end of your turn, if no combat damage was dealt this turn, you may have target friendly unit attack target enemy unit. It gains Armed and Evasive for this attack.

Rhetorician

Comments: Activate cost changed from wasting bank card to spending 2 energy.

New: Activate, spend 2 energy: Friendly units lose Pacifist this turn.

Previous:

Activate, waste a friendly banked card: Friendly units lose Pacifist this turn.

Life Vault

Comments: Changed from start of turn trigger to activated ability.

New:

After you heal a damaged unit or player, this relic gets 1 counter.

Activate, remove 30 counters from this relic and destroy it: Play all cards in your deck for free in order, starting from the top.

Previous:

After you heal a damaged unit or player, this relic gets 1 counter.

If this relic has 30 or more counters at the start of your turn, destroy it and play all cards in your deck for free in order, starting from the top.

Primea Conduit

Comments: Gains Shielded.

New:

Shielded, Defender

Muster: Spend your remaining energy. This unit gains +1/+1 per energy spent.

Previous:

Defender

Muster: Spend your remaining energy. This unit gains +1/+1 per energy spent.

Student of Shoshanna

Comments: Buff increased.

Buff: +0/+1 > +1/+1

Kathari

We found Kathari to be overperforming a little so far, so we’ve tuned down their Appraiser opening along with realigning a few key pieces for them.

Scipius’ Adjutant

Comments: Stats decreased.

Attack/Health: 1/1 > 0/1

Cunning Scipian

Comments: Removed unit in bank requirement.

New:

At the end of your turn, create a 1/1 Kathari Iterant.

Previous:

At the end of your turn, if you have a unit in your bank, create a 1/1 Kathari Iterant.

Archivist's Pride

Comments: No longer wastes copied card. Added non-legendary clause.

New:

Add four copies of target friendly banked non-legendary Kathari unit to your deck.

Previous:

Add four copies of target friendly banked Kathari unit to your deck. Waste the copied card.

Maritus, Aetian Recombinant

Comments: Both selections no longer considered targeting.

New:

Muster: Pick two units in your waste. Maritus gains the attack and health of one and the abilities of the other.

Previous:

Muster: Target two units in your waste. Maritus gains the attack and health of one and the abilities of the other.

Valerusi Striker

Comments: New ability.

New:

If you control two Valerusi Strikers, each has +1/+0.

If you control three Valerusi Strikers, each has +2/+0 and Evasive instead.

Previous:

On attack, if you control another Valerusi Striker, this unit gains +1/+0 and Armed.

Antius' Forecast

Comments: Removed cost restriction. Changed from Kathari unit to Clone unit.

New:

Play a copy of target non-legendary Clone in your bank. The copy gains Battle Ready and "At the end of your turn, destroy this unit.”

Previous:

Play a Clone copy of target non-legendary Kathari unit with cost 5 or less in your bank. The copy gains Battle Ready and ""At the end of your turn, destroy this unit.""

Eye of Galli

Comments: New ability.

New:

Draw the top card of the enemy deck and reduce its cost by 2. If that card is a unit, it is also a Clone.

Previous:

The enemy looks at the top two cards of their deck and wastes one. This card transforms into a Clone copy of the wasted card. Play the copy for free.

Nucleotic Synthesizer

Comments: Cost increase from 0 to 1. Triggered ability becomes activated ability.

New:

1-Cost

The first time you bank a unit on your turn, this relic gains a counter.

Activate, remove 3 counters from this relic: Swap a card in your hand with a friendly banked unit. Reduce the cost of the unit put into your hand by 1.

Previous:

0-Cost

The first time you bank a unit on your turn, this relic gains a counter. Then, if it has 3 or more counters, remove all counters and swap a card in your hand with a friendly banked unit. Reduce the cost of the unit put into your hand by 1.

Drusian Exhorator

Comments: Cost increased.

Cost: 5 > 6

Gallian Recombinant

Comments: Cost increased.

Marcolian

Marcolian has been lagging behind the other Parallels in Rookie mode and a bit in Ranked as well, so we're throwing a few more stats at some of their units and see where they land.

Ruthless Sergeant

Comments: Selection of banked cards no longer considered targeting.

New:

Muster: Waste up to 3 friendly banked cards. For each card wasted, target a unit to deal 3 damage to.

Previous:

Muster: Waste up to 3 target friendly banked cards. For each card wasted, target a unit to deal 3 damage to.

Supply Drop

Comments: New Assault ability.

New:

Draw a card.

Assault: Target unit in your hand gains Armed.

Previous:

Draw a card.

Assault: This card costs 1 energy.

Unseen Commando

Comments: Health increased.

Health: 1 > 2

Iron Corps Rifleman

Comments: Health increased.

Health: 1 > 2

Scimitar Scout Bike

Comments: Attack increased.

Attack: 1 > 2

Elite Sharpshooter

Comments: Health increased.

Health: 1 > 2

Fire Everything!

Comments: Cost decreased.

Fire Support Base

Comments: Buff increased

Crack Shot

Comments: Cost reduced.

Cost: 2 > 1

Shroud

Shroud has been a relatively high performer in Rookie mode and has a couple of strong Ranked decks as well. We're starting off with a somewhat light touch and see if that keeps them in a good place.

Shepherd of the Fallen

Comments: No longer banishes your own cards when they would enter the waste.

New:

If a card would enter the enemy waste, banish it instead.

Previous:

If a card would enter either player's waste, banish it instead.

Dark Dealings

Comments: Selection of cards no longer considered targeting.

New:

Choose a card from your waste and a card from your singularity and put them into your hand. Take 4 damage.

Previous:

Put target card from your waste and target card from your singularity into your hand. Take 4 damage.

Voidrunner

Comments: New ability.

New:

Muster: Deal 1 damage to target enemy unit. If that unit is destroyed this turn, banish it.

Previous:

Muster: You may put target enemy unit in your singularity into your hand.

Spectre Attack Craft

Comments: Combat damage ability now only triggers on your own turn.

New:

Evasive

After this unit deals combat damage on your turn, reveal a banked enemy card and draw a card. If the enemy has any banked upgrades revealed, you may put a random card from your singularity into your hand instead.

The Flat Circle

Artifact Appraiser

Main changes / comments:

Ability changed from gaining stats on muster to “has”. The buff is applied whenever you control a relic, not just if you control a relic when you play Artifact Appraiser. The buff is removed when you no longer control a relic.

New:

If you control a relic, this unit has +2/+0.

Previous:

Muster: If you control a relic, this unit gains +2/+1.

Seer's Stone

Comments: The top card of your deck is now only revealed to you, not your opponent.

New:

The top card of your deck is always revealed to you.

Activate, destroy target friendly card you control: Waste the top card of your deck.

Previous:

The top card of your deck is always revealed.

Activate, destroy target friendly card you control: Waste the top card of your deck.

Black Market Fixer

Comments: Attack/Health decreased

Attack/Health: 3/3 > 2/2

Bug Fixes

Many bugs have been addressed in this build. Some of the more prominent fixes include:

  • Card prompt text on several cards has been updated to match current card functionality

  • End of turn effects no longer cut into opponent’s turn timer

  • Players are no longer soft locked after many Decay triggers

  • Players should no longer receive friend requests if “Enable Friend Requests” is toggled off

  • Armoured Division HQ’s ability no longer triggers when enemy Vehicles deal damage

  • Combat Veteran no longer resolves its ability after its health drops to 0

  • Dana Silvertongue now appropriately adds a counter after activation

  • Dimension Shifter no longer errors when pulling Sacred Siphoner from the singularity

  • Gaia’s Call is now destroyed after it resolves its ability

  • Iron Corps Quartermaster no longer triggers when it should not such as wasting banked cards

  • Kethtrexamine now doubles appropriately with multiple copies

  • Rangsei reverts to base card when put into hand

  • Rug Poll now functions as intended

  • Security Officer’s shields no longer persist after targeted by an enemy effect

  • Seer’s Stone no longer functions in the bank

  • Shoshanna’s starting health correctly set to 40 at the beginning of game
