Parallel League Season 2: Complete Guide to Events, Points, and Schedule

From monthly Opens to prestigious Major tournaments, we've got everything you need to know about the upcoming season.

Event Types & How to Earn Points

In-Game Ladder

The foundation of competitive play runs from March through December. Players who reach the Top 100 in each ranked ladder season earn valuable points toward the Parallel Prime League standings. This continuous competition ensures that consistency is rewarded throughout the season.

Prime Minors

Each month, the top 64 players from the ranked ladder are invited to compete in a prestigious qualifier tournament. These double-elimination events offer more than just points – the winner secures an automatic seat at the next available Majors top 16. It's a direct path to competing with the best of the best.

Prime Majors

The Major tournaments are the premiere events of the Parallel Prime League. These multi-stage tournaments begin with a swiss-round weekend open to players league ranked 1–128. The top 13 performers advance to join the 3 Minor winners.

The stakes are high – Major winners automatically qualify for the Prime Championship IRL as will those finishing in the top 5 Prime League leaderboard.

Prime Opens

Looking for a more accessible way to earn league points? Prime Opens are open to all Parallel players on a first-come, first-served basis. These community-focused tournaments offer an alternative path to earning league points, with the Top 16 finishers all receiving point rewards.

Prime Leaderboard

At the end of the Parallel Prime season the top 5 on the Prime leaderboard are qualified to automatically be seated at the Prime Championship Finals.

Last Chance Qualifier

For players ranked 6–124 on the league points leaderboard, the Last Chance Qualifier offers one final opportunity. The top 8 finishers earn spots in the Prime Championship Knockouts, keeping championship dreams alive.

Prime Championship Knockouts

This 32-player tournament is where the season's best compete for a chance at the World Championship. The field consists of:

• Top 24 from the league leaderboard

• Top 8 from the last chance qualifier

Players battle through round-robin pods, with the top cuts from each advancing to the Prime World Championship.

Prime Championship

The season culminates in an in-person tournament featuring the world's 16 best Parallel players. Location for this prestigious event is still to be determined.
