New Game Mechanics
Kickback
In-game Description
Kickback abilities can have additional effects if you pay the enemy player a kickback. They will then provide benefits for both players.
Expanded Description
A card ability that includes the Kickback mechanic will allow the player to make a choice to pay the enemy a “kickback” before the card's ability takes effect. A “kickback” is effectively a trade-off that the player may take in order to get a more powerful effect out of a card’s ability, where the “kickback” is a benefit which the enemy player will receive in turn.
Charge
In-game Description
To Charge is to reveal a bank card for an additional effect. If there is a characteristic listed, the revealed card must match.
Expanded Description
A card ability that includes the Charge mechanic will allow the player to reveal a bank card in order to receive an additional effect. However, this game mechanic is not limited to just revealing any card and may require additional criteria to be activated. Potential additional criteria include: reveal a certain card type and/or reveal more than 1 bank card.
Charge Example
If a card requires a Charge then you must reveal any card from the bank.

If a card requires an Effect Charge then you must reveal an Effect card from the bank.

If a card requires an Upgrade Charge 2 then you must reveal 2 Upgrade cards from the bank.
Known Issues
As we move into Aftermath we wanted to highlight some known issues that are currently being investigated.
Catherine, Sword of Valli
There is a known issue impacting the correct activation of Catherine, Sword of Valli’s ability.
Gaffar's Rage
There is a known issue where Gaffar's Rage will not correctly attack the same target three times if there is only one valid target.
Nehemiah, Defender of Earth / Ritual Markings
There is a known issue where Ritual Markings will not correctly destroy Nehemiah, Defender of Earth.
Nehemiah's Mycelium Uplink
There is a known issue where Nehemiah's Mycelium Uplink timer has irregularities.
Shield of Nehemiah
There is a known issue where Shield of Nehemiah will not buff itself with its ability.
Sabotaged Supply Cache
There is a known issue where Sabotaged Supply Caches may be incorrectly shuffled into your deck when using related cards.
Shield Pod
There is a known issue that banishing Shield Pod incorrectly activates abilities tied to banishing target units.
Split Cards
There is a known issue where you cannot play one side of a Split Card if you don’t have enough energy for its parent card.
The Hacker
There is a known issue where The Hacker may also incorrectly switch the stats of cards in your deck.
The New Dawn
There is a known issue where The New Dawn’s ability timer to retrieve a card from the singularity has irregularities.
Perfect Loops
There is known issue where Perfect Loops for Aftermath Cards are not shown correctly. (They will be Shown as SE for the time being)
